A newborn log built for the hours when you are least able to use an app.
Something wrong, or something missing? Write to tahaferidun@gmail.com. Tell me what you were doing and what happened — that is usually enough to find it.
Getting started
Logging without opening the app
Add the widget to your Lock Screen or Home Screen, or add a control to Control Centre (press and hold Control Centre → Add a Control → search for the app). On an iPhone with an Action Button, you can assign the control there. One press starts a feed; another stops it.
Breastfeeding
Tap Feed to start. The app opens on the side you did not use last. Switch side moves the timer to the other breast and banks the minutes on the first one; Pause stops the clock without ending the session.
I forgot to start the timer
Log it afterwards: open the form and use the chips — 15 minutes ago, 30 minutes ago, an hour ago — instead of scrolling a date picker. If a timer ran all night, the app notices and asks when it actually ended rather than saving a nine-hour feed.
Sharing and sync
Both parents
Entries sync between devices signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on. Each phone can say who it belongs to — Settings → This phone → Logging as — so a shared account still shows who did the 3am feed.
A partner using a different Apple Account cannot see your entries yet. That needs iCloud sharing, which is planned but not built.
Sync seems slow
Changes travel through iCloud and can take a moment. Opening the app on the other device pulls anything outstanding straight away.
Your data
Backups
Baby → Export → Create backup file writes a CSV of every entry, in metric units, that any spreadsheet can open. It is free and always will be. Keep a copy somewhere other than the phone — that is what saves you if the phone does not come back.
Deleting entries
Swipe an entry in History. If you swipe the wrong one, the Undo button at the bottom of the screen puts it back.
Buying
What costs money
Logging is free forever: every activity, the timers, widgets, reminders, the solids and food diary, the last week of history, and your own CSV backup and restore. Paying unlocks the sleep windows, your full history, the growth charts, the weekly summary and the PDF report.
The plans
Monthly, yearly, or a single payment that never renews — all three unlock exactly the same things. The subscriptions start with a free week. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it; you can cancel any time from Baby → Settings → Manage subscription, or in the iPhone Settings app under your Apple Account. Cancelling at least a day before the renewal date stops the next charge.
I already paid and it is locked again
Baby → Settings → Restore purchases. Purchases follow your Apple Account, so a new phone signed into the same account can restore without paying again.
Growth charts
Weight, height and head circumference are plotted against the World Health Organization's child growth standards. If you recorded a gestation under 40 weeks, the chart uses corrected age. A centile describes where a measurement sits on that curve. It is not a grade, and this app will never tell you what your baby should be doing — that conversation belongs with your paediatrician.
